Enjoy the magnificent views from the Magaliesburg mountains as you challenge yourself with a 15-18km overnight hike on our Magalieskraans Hiking Trail.

The overnight hut is a shared accommodation with two rooms sleeping four people each with a maximum accommodation of eight people per night.

If your party is less than 5 people you may be sharing the facilities with another hiking party.

Day 1 – Distance to hut 10km
Day 2 – Remaining distance 5-8km

Overnight Hut Includes:

  • Running Water

  • Eight beds with mattresses
  • Braai area outside and inside
  • Cutlery and crockery for eight people

Rate (Fri – Sun):

R460 per person


Midweek Group Bookings (Tues – Thurs):
Please note that Rustig is closed from Monday to Thursday except on Public Holidays and during School Holidays. If you wish to make a midweek group booking for the Magalieskraans overnight for a minimum of eight people. Please email bookings@rustig.co.za for special arrangements.

 

Additional Services

  • R300 per group if you require us to deliver your equipment.
  • R120 per person if you require us to supply bedding.
  • R50 per bag of wood.

  • MUST start hike no later than 9am, route will be closed to all visitors after 9am.
  • NO Children under the age of 13.
